Here's what should not to be done  if you want to keep your skin healthy.

1 . Sun

There was time when people thought that the best care for their skin is to pour themselves in baby oil or to stay the whole day on the beach. For many years dermatologists have warned that the sun exposure is a sure way for skin aging, which can lead to cancer.
Dermatologist Norman Levine, author of "Healthy Skin", says: "If there is one thing everyone can do to protect their skin, it is to avoid the sun. Sun radiation affects those cells that renew the skin and when these cells are damaged irremediably, the skin ages faster and becomes more susceptible to cancerous changes Sun radiation affects those cells that renew the skin and when these cells are damaged irremediably, the skin ages faster and becomes more susceptible to cancerous changes.”

2 . Improper use of sunscreens

Your sunscreen probably does not protect you from the harmful effects of the sun, because you don't apply the recommended factor as it is SPF 30 or higher. moreover, many people do not apply the recommended  sun cream in every two hours as prescribed by dermatologists.

3 . Solarium

You think that a tan from solarium is safer than one that will get from the sun? Think twice!
Solariums emit concentrated ultraviolet light. These rays make the skin to look older and can cause melanoma. Never go to solariums! There is no another more efficient way to harm your skin.

4 . Smoke

Probably you know how harmful smoking for your lungs is. But probably you have heard it ages your skin. A survey shows that cigarettes smoke acts the same way as the sun but from inside. The skin begins to lose its luster, starts to look tired and apathetic. Moreover, cigarettes cause unpleasant yellowish color. Blood cannot supply nutrients thoroughly and that is the reason why the skin of a smoker strengthens more difficult if is injured.

5. Usage of the wrong cleaning product

A big mistake people often make is to wash their faces with plain soap, which is designed for body. Keep the soup bar for the shower. Use only a soft cleansing lotion, especially if your skin is sensitive. If your skin is acne-prone ensure yourself that you use oil-free product and non-comedogenic. People whose skin is dry should apply a layer of body lotion after each body wash to keep the moisture in their skin.

6. Usage of face scrub

To wash your face is a good idea. But to use scrub is no good. This could be very irritating for the skin, especially if it is acne prone.
